Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25 of 1970) is an American actress best famous for her portrayal of the role of detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter and Dr. Sydney Hansen on NBC's Providence drama as well as The Resident's medical drama The Resident. The actress was also praised for her television debut as Eleni Andros cooper in CBS' soap opera Guiding Light. Some of her most notable films include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created Immortals) Immortals) is thought to be in the works. She also films for a new television show named Gods & Heroes.
